Pakistan vs Srilanka 2012 Live Streaming - Ten Sports

Pakistan vs Srilanka Cricket Series
Pakistan tours to Sri Lanka for two T20 international cricket matches, five ODI matches and three test matches. After a long and exciting Indian Premier League now the impetus shifts to international cricket. Already West Indies is playing England in England and now we have two Asian cricketing heavyweight taking each other for all forms of this game.

Following is the schedule for Pakistan's tour to Srilanka:
1st T20 - 1st June 2012
2nd T20 - 3rd June 2012

1st ODI - 7th June 2012
2nd ODI - 9th June 2012
3rd ODI - 13th June 2012
4th ODI - 16th June 2012
5th ODI - 18th June 2012

1st Test - 22nd June to 26th June 2012
2nd Test - 30th June to 4th July 2012
3rd Test - 8th July to 12th July 2012

Mahela Jayawardene will be the skipper for Srilanka team. They have included players like Chandimal, Dilshan, Kapugedara, Kulasekara, Malinga, Angelo Mathews and many more to name. Srilankan side looks very strong on paper and is a very hard team to beat at home.

Meanwhile Mohammad Hafeez will lead the Pakistani team in T20 format whereas Misbah Ul Haq will take care of ODI and Test team captaincy. Pakistan has good renowned players like Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Umar Akmal, Saeed Ajmal, Yaseer Arafat, etc in their squad. These players look good enough to provide a good resistance to the home team.

As far as the head to head records are concerned Pakistan has won 16 test matches and lost 9 to Srilanka. Pakistan also has an upper hand in the ODI version where they have managed to win 76 ODI matches and lost 47 so far to Srilanka. Pakistan also leads the T20 tally with 5 wins and 2 defeats against the Lankans.

Last time they met each other for a test series in United Arab Emirates which was clinched by Pakistan (1-0). Their last ODI encounter was in Asia Cup which was won by Pakistan. They also played a T20 cricket match in UAE which again went to Pakistan.

So overall if we have a close look at the records as well as recent form, Pakistan has an upper hand but Srilanka has the home advantage which we can't write off. Overall this promises to be an exciting cricket series between Pakistan and Srilanka.
