India Vs Australia Day 4 Live - This could be the decider

India Vs Australia 1st test continues the excitement as we enter day 4 which could well be the deciding day. Looking at the way wickets tumbled on Day 3, today it could be the final day of this match. Australia has gained a lead of 230 which looks defendable on this bowler supporting pitch. Still 2 wickets to go for Australia they can gather few more runs to add to India's target.

Fortunes in this test match are fluctuating wildly for either of the teams. Indian batsmen on day 3 couldn't provide any resistance and they conceded 51 runs to Australia. Although 51 runs look small but they can provide a winning cause on this pitch. Just like the Australian bowlers, Indian bowlers were also exceptional as they took wickets at regular intervals. Only two Australian batsmen who could spend a good amount of time on pitch were Ponting and Hussey. Yadav again took four wickets and continued his good form down under.

Day 4 can now belong to either of the teams. If Hussey can gather few more runs taking help of tail enders, they can apply more pressure on Indian batsmen. Then a lot depends of bowling of Hilfenhaus, Pattinson, Lyon and Siddle. Ball isn't coming on to the bat properly resulting in inside edges dragged on to the stumps. Batsmen need to be more careful in terms of timing the ball. Indian batsmen has a tougher task as they are the ones who would chase.

A lot is expected from Kohli, Laxman and Dhoni who failed in 1st innings. Sachin, Dravid, Gambhir and Sehwag need to contribute their best as it seems they will have to chase something more than 250 on day 4. This match could completely swing Australia's way, or it could go India's way if their batsmen click or it can go down the wire resulting in a nail biter!

Ind Vs Aus 1st Test Day 3 Live - Bowlers dominating

Ind vs Aus Day 3 Live

A pure see-saw cricket match going out there at Melbourne. Day 1 belonged to both the teams whereas Day 2 belonged to the Indian team. It seemed India will go ahead to register atleast a lead of 100 runs to put pressure on the Australians. But things went the other way round. Any Indian who woke up at around 7 o' clock in the morning would have been shocked to see India bowled out at the stroke of lunch.

India's batting debacle resulted due to brilliant bowling performance by the Australian quickies. Dravid left for 68  runs and wickets fell tumbling after his departure. Laxman (2), Kohli (11) and Dhoni (6); a lot was expected from these three. Only batsman to hold his nerve and battle out there was Ashwin who managed valuable 31 runs from 35 balls. Hilfenhaus took 5 wickets for 75 runs. Siddle took 3 while Pattinson took 2.

Suddenly the Australians looked on top and the cricket fans speculated an emphatic win for Australia after long time. But Indian bowlers had something else in their minds. In no time Australian scorecard showed 4 down for 27 runs! 3 wickets were bowled and one was leg before wicket. Umesh Yadav has got a dream start in Australia. He took 3 wickets while Ishant had one to his name. Warner was bowled by Yadav for 5. Cowan lbw by Yadav on 8. Marsh again bowled by Yadav for 3 runs. Clarke bowled by Ishant just for 1 runs. He didn't trouble the scorers much.

Australian cricket fans will now have a lot of hopes on experienced Ponting and Hussey as they should anchor the innings towards a respectable and defendable score. MCG pitch is providing a good support to the bowlers so an overall lead of 200 would provide a fight back opportunity for Australian bowlers.

India Vs Australia 1st Test Live Streaming Cricket

Ind Vs Aus 1st Test Live

Update - Aus wins by 122 runs

ESPN STAR provides India Vs Australia live streaming as it is not possible for viewers to be in front of television sets all the time. Live cricket online streaming always stays as a good substitute for online viewers. Let us have a look at how the stage is set up for the Boxing Day test match. This would be the 1st test match of this series.

Australia in a turmoil of transition leaves behind an opening for India to win their first ever test series in India. This is India's 10th test series down under and they are yet to win one. No can now deny that India vs Australia series is now as luring as the Ashes and as crowd pulling as an India Vs Pakistan cricket series.

With the likes of greats such as Sachin, Dravid or Laxman who might be playing their last ever test series in Australia; Indian team certainly serves a dream of winning a test series down under. And their efforts towards this cause should begin right from the 1st test at MCG. Consistency is the key for India this time because most of them are already in good form.

Eyes would be on Sachin who may score his 100th international ton this time. At the same time eyes would also be set on another prolific batsman Ricky Ponting who has faced a lot of criticism for his lost form recently. If he gathers good amount of runs then he may prolong his international career or we may see a great cricketer excluded from the squad very soon.

Indian batting relies a lot on good starts from Sehwag and Gambhir. Middle order looks firm with Sachin, Dravid and Laxman. Lower middle order will have Dhoni and Kohli/Sharma. Bowling department looks a bit worrying with injury to Ishant. Zaheer can be the most dangerous bowler in this series if he can generate some swing with his pace. Spinners like Ashwin and Ojha may shine if the pitch provides some turn alongwith the bounce which is an added advantage for spinners.

MS Dhoni has accumulated a lot of feathers to his cap. He would be itching to get a win here at MCG. Bouncy tracks in Australia can be a worrying factor for India but we can't write off the fact that last two test wins for India down under came on fastest of the pitches.

CA Chairman's XI Vs Indians Warm Up match Streaming Updates - India Vs Australia Practice match

Patience is virtue! 26th December - India meets Australia in Melbourne for a long awaited Boxing Day test match. Just to be firmly prepared for that match, Indians play one more warm up match against Cricket Australia's Chairman's XI. This match will again be played at Canberra.

The first match was a two dayer and this practice match would be a three day match. So an extra day of practice for the Indians. The first match purely belonged to the batsmen. Robinson scored an emphatic 140 plus and Cooper was even more impressive with an unbeaten 182 runs. CA Chairman's XI scored 398 and declared. Doubts were raised again on team India's performance in Australia. But Indian batsmen anchored batting pretty well and scored 320 in reply.

Indian fans were happy to see Sachin in form down under. Sachin scored 92 retired out. Even Laxman scored 57 retired out. Dravid' 45 and Rohit Sharma's 56 came handy. The only Indian bowler who was impressive was Umesh Yadav who was economical and took 3 wickets.

There is a buzz in the Indian camp about the Australian weakness towards swing bowling. After Zaheer Khan it was Rohit Sharma who believes recently the Australian batsmen have face problems facing swing bowling. Rohit Sharma added that India has a good bowling attack to pressurise Australian batting unit.

Indians have got into the groove with one warm up match and the 2nd practice match will give them more idea of the Australian conditions. Also the Indian fans are hoping that Sachin will get to his 100th ton at MCG in the 1st test match.

India Vs Australia Warm Up Match - Indians Vs CA Chairman's XI Practice Match

India Vs Australia 2012 cricket series begins with couple of tour matches. Indians are scheduled to play Cricket Australia Chairman's XI for two practice matches before they begin the actual action from 26th December.

Following are the squads who would feature in the India Vs CA Chariman's XI warm up match:-

Indian squad - MS Dhoni, Sehwag, Ashwin, Dravid, Aaron, Kohli, Gambhir, Mithun, Ojha, Laxman, Saha, Rahane, Sharma, Tendulkar, Yadav

Cricket Australia Chairman's XI squad - Broad, Burns, Boyce, Doolan, Cooper, Haberfield, George, Ludeman, Lalor, Robinson, Solway, Maxwell

Indians were in no mood to repeat their mistake of lack of preparation which they committed in England. So they requested an extra warm up tie in Australia.

The weather here in Canberra looks a bit cloudy and the temperature would range somewhere around 14 Degree Celsius. To heat up things, CA Chairman's XI captain Ryan Broad wishes to unsettle the visiting team in the warm up matches itself. He said that he has no idea what would be the Indian approach for these warm up matches, but his team is surely going to play positive cricket. He would love to bat first if he wins the toss.

Live Cricket Online India Vs West Indies 5th ODI Updates

As we enter into the final stage of India Vs West Indies 2011 cricket series, we have so many things to talk about. Probably this post will run short of words. Ultimately we can say that 4th ODI at Indore was something every Indian cricket fan expected. That was the performance long awaited against a team like West Indies which is not the same we used to observe till the late 80s.

The top order of India which failed miserably in the first 3 ODIs clicked so well in the 4th ODI that all the regrets were left behind. A knock of 219 runs in an ODI is something out of the imagination. Virender Sehwag played as if he owned the ground. He played shots all over the ground with 25 boundaries and 7 sixes! He rewrote the record books.

What should West Indies do now? Agreed they still won't have recovered from the Sehwag shocker, but with one last match to go; they can leave with one more win in their pocket. That could be a huge consolation for them. With so many allrounders in the team, West Indies can surely clinch a win again. One more repeat of Ahmedabad is possible, if they can keep their spirits high.

The Chepauk pitch generally offers a lot of runs but also a bit of turn later on. So anything is possible! No wonders if a captain opts to bat first after winning the toss.

Neo Live Cricket Online Updates - Ind Vs WI 4th ODI

To be honest, the performance of West Indies has been inspirational on this tour. The results won't give you a clear picture, but they have really fought hard to prove their point. They managed to pull one back in Ahmedabad where they registered a win by 16 runs.

It is time now for the 4th ODI which may decide the result if India wins here. If West Indies wins, the series will grow more exciting with the final ODI to be the decider. The visiting teams batting in the death overs have been exceptionally well. One who keeps an eye on their scorecard till the 35th over would feel the score would be average. But if the same person checks the score at the end of 50 overs, he would be surprised to see that the run rate went up to a large extent. This has been a case in all the previously played 3 matches.

India's top order batting woes continues not only for this series but players like Gambhir and Sehwag need to hit form before they land up in Australia facing quickies on the bounciest of pitches. Virat Kohi scored a good ton in the 2nd ODI but he failed in the other two occasions. Raina's form has been dismal and the one day specialist needs to click before any one from the bench strength clinches his place. The star in the Indian batting line up so far has been Rohit Sharma with 3 half centuries on the trot and two scores of 90 plus.

India will play with one change in the squad. Irfan Pathan who is liked by many in India will make a comeback with his good form in Ranji cricket. He will replace Umesh Yadav who may leave early for a down under preparation.

What would be exactly the West Indies game plan? It would certainly be to carry further the winning momentum and build more pressure on the Indian team. Eyes would be set on Sammy, Rampaul, Narine, Roach in the absence of Bravo who is out due to an injury.

This would be first day and night match here in Indore so it is hard to predict how the pitch would behave under lights. Although the pitch is purely flat but the dew factor may come into the frame later.

India go into this match as favourites but who knows? West Indies may pull out another rabbit from their hats!

India Vs West Indies 3rd ODI Live Cricket Online Updates

Live Cricket Online

Indian team never ever looked so dominant at home. In the recent years they have won ODI series comprehensively against teams like Sri Lanka, Australia, England and now its the turn of West Indies. The first two matches are pocketed by India and they march towards Ahmedabad for the 3rd ODI.

Sardar Patel Stadium Aerial View
Sardar Patel Stadium at Motera in Ahmedabad will host this match which would preferably favour the batsmen. India has not enjoyed a very good win loss ratio here. India played 13 and won 6 matches here. But the recent memories for India on this ground are pleasant. India eliminated Australia from the ICC World Cup 2011 earlier this year on this very ground.

In the absence of Sachin, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Harbhajan and Zaheer, Indian team showed glimpses of nervousness in the first two ODIs. India didn't easily cruise to a win in the 1st match. Ravi Rampaul scored a staggering 86 not out being number 10 batsman raising hopes for a Windies win. But the young Kohli and Rohit Sharma turned the tables on and registered a win for India.

The Indian team members whose form is a concern for everyone would be skipper Sehwag, opener Gambhir and Suresh Raina. They should get into the form at the earliest before they find themselves facing the speedsters in Australia where things would be tougher. As far as the bowling is concerned, R Vinay Kumar, Umesh Yadav and R Ashwin have been impressive so far.

The pitch here leaves a very little margin of error for the bowlers. This ground reminds us of the November 2002 match when India chased 300 plus runs against West Indies in a 7 ODI series. If the visiting team doesn't showcase an intense display throughout the match, then the home team looks firm favourites here.

Live Cricket Online Updates - India Vs West Indies 2nd ODI

What would you ideally expect in recent times when a team visits India? Just two things, a one sided match and lack of spectators in the stadium. But aren't there some recent happenings that make this ODI series more interesting? Certainly there are some! The last test match which ended like a nail biter and the first ODI which was again a cliff hanger. Things don't look as easy as Indian team would have speculated.

West Indies is playing as a better unit since the last test match. They are giving a tough time to the Indian team in the limited version of the game also. Now the series moves on to Vishakhapatnam.

The other benefit of this series which writes off the probability of less spectators is the venues. If we don't consider the major venues in India like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, etc. the other venues host very little International matches, thus attracting more crowd than the bigger venues. Another plus point of this match would be, Vishakhapatnam track is know for 250 plus scores.

India would like to play the winning eleven of Cuttack unless we see some unexpected injuries. Rahane and Tiwary may have to sit out again. Sehwag would like to see more resolute batting from his team as he seemed to be upset with the batting performance. On the other hand West Indies team would be itching to register their first win on this tour and level the series. Stay tuned for another exciting day's play.
