After beating West Indies in T20 and ODI series, India has started off their test series campaign with a victory. India registered a 63 runs win over West Indies. Rahul Dravid scored 40 in 1st innings and a century in the second. He was awarded Man of the Match. The second test begins from 28th of this month.
Sri Lanka lost the test series 0-1 to England. But registered a comfortable 9 wickets victory over England in the T20 match. This will be followed by an ODI series. Jayasuriya will feature in the first ODI match at Oval before he retires from International cricket.
Daniel Vettori has decided to prolong his test career by taking a long break from ODI and T20 cricket. But he also added that if things are fine he will be available for the 2015 World Cup.
