Indian Skipper MS Dhoni is happy with Indian preparations and expects his bowling department to click on time. He believes that performing well session wise in Test cricket is the key to triumph. Especially performing well in the sessions of last two days is obligatory if one has to win.
He also added that this won't be a captain vs captain cricket. It all depends on the performance of the whole team working as an unit. He said ICC rankings will again take care of itself if his team performs well. Although the outcome of this series will hardly affect the rankings because India will still remain on the first position even if they lose the series.
Ricky Ponting is eager to get himself into form before the Ashes and sees this series as the best opportunity to help the cause. He is rebuilding the Australian team with youngsters. The team hasn't fared very well in the recent past.
