India Vs West Indies 3rd Test Live - India aims a Clean Sweep

India Vs West Indies 3rd test kicks off at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India is desperately looking for a clean sweep. Thanks to Australia winning a cliffhanger against South Africa, India has moved on the second position in ICC Test Rankings, pushing South Africa to the 3rd position. England leads the list of test rankings. A win in Mumbai will further strengthen India's position in the rankings.

A win here means a lot to the home team also in terms of the confidence factor. Before heading towards Australia for a long tour, a 3-0 win would be a confidence booster. Players like Laxman, Dravid, Ojha, Ashwin, Ishant, Sehwag, Gambhir and Yadav have struck form and hopefully they continue this streak in this test match.

West Indies has opted to bat first and has displayed a confident start. Indian bowlers have toiled hard to clinch wickets. But in due course of time, the pitch behaviour will change leading to a completely different scenario. A win here for the West Indies team would be a dream come true. Beating the number 2 team will be a  complimentary gift before they conclude the tour.

India is playing Virat Kohli in place of Yuvraj Singh. Bowling department includes Ashwin, Sharma, Ojha and Aaron. Players worth watching in the visiting team would be Barath, Edwards, Bravo, Sammy, Bishoo and Rampaul. Stay tuned for more live cricket online previews and reviews.

Neo Cricket Live - Ind Vs WI 2nd Test - India Looks for a series win

NEO cricket live streaming telecast of India Vs West Indies test series continues. India is riding high with a win in the 1st test and they are itching to wrap up the series with a win here at Eden Gardens. With all the batsmen contributing well and spinners bowling exceptionally well, Indian team looks favourites.

Sachin Tendulkar is yet to get his 100th International century but he would be the last man thinking of the feat. He would be thinking of a win rather than reaching the milestone. At the same time Eden Gardens would be the best venue to reach this feat or would he chose his home town Mumbai where India plays 3rd test.

If India wins this test series that would be 4 test series wins on the trot against West Indies. A lot depends on Pragyan Ojha and R Ashwin. Not to forget they clinched 16 wickets in total in the 1st test. Darren Sammy is wary of Indian spinners and also the strong batting line up.

A series probably with a white wash will raise the confidence of this team to newer levels before visiting Australia for a long tour.

An Interview With the Indian Spear Head - Zaheer Khan

I still remember my school days when I saw a quick left arm bowling yorkers and disturbing the furniture on the other end of the 22 yard strip. Loads of crests and troughs in his career but ultimately he has reached a position where experts and cricket fans believe he is the spear head of Indian bowling attack in the recent past. And above all there isn't a bowler on the bench who can replace him. Zaheer Khan certainly does feel a discomfort of sitting out of the Indian team due to an injury.

India enjoyed the top position in test cricket since December 2009 but the dream streak ended miserably when the team suffered a white wash in a test series against England earlier this year. The cricketer who must have experienced the biggest pain would be the current most effective Indian bowler Zaheer Khan. Days and nights would have been frustrating for this bowler as he saw his team getting pulverised from the sidelines in England and what he could do was just sit and watch the debacle.

Let us see what he has to say in an interview published in a leading newspaper in India.

Do you hope that you will make into the playing eleven for the series in Australia?

I am not certain about the date of my return. I reckon I need a good amount of time to recover completely. It is a good signal for me that I have started bowling in the nets.

How hard was it for you to see India losing so badly in England?

As a sportsperson I always dread an injury and hence the series started on a very bad note for me. I felt very bad when team lost so miserably and I wasn't there to fulfill my responsibility.

What do you feel about the new young bowlers Varun Aaron and Umesh Yadav?

They have kicked off the proceedings pretty well. They need more grooming, proper guidance so that they perform consistently well at the highest level.

Why is it observed in India that when a fast bowler makes an entry to the highest level his bowling speed reduces?

Probably it is something related to the subcontinent conditions and also a pressure to play when you are at the highest level. I can't provide a certain reason for you question but this could also be a reason that slowly they start concentrating more on the line and length rather than the speed.

These are some of the questions I could make a note of from the interview. As this great fast bowler from India flourishes more in his career, we would see more and more such interviews. Let us hope this quickie recovers soon and makes an entry into the team soon. His presence would be a bonus for team India down under when they face a daunting task of playing against the mighty Australians.

Champions League T20 Records

Champions League Twenty20 Records

Let us have a look at some of the Champions League T20 records before the 3rd edition kicks off from 19th September.

Winner for the 1st edition was New South Wales whereas the second edition was clinched by Chennai Super Kings. Highest totals by the teams were topped by Trinidad and Tobaga when they scored 213 runs in 20 overs versus Eagles. This match was played at Hyderabad on 18th October 2009. The second highest total is named to Chennai Super Kings when they scored 200 runs against Wayamba on 15th September 2010 at Centurion. These are the only two scores above 200 in the history of CLT20.

T20 format is well know for huge sixes and when we talk about huge ones, we remember Pollard. He owns maximum number of sixes in CLT20 history. He hit 28 sixes in 9 innings. Surprisingly his number of fours are only 12! Raina and Taylor share the second position with 12 sixes.

The most successful bowler had been Bravo with 16 wickets who has played for Mumbai Indians as well as Trinidad and Tobago. He is followed by McKay who has claimed total 14 wickets playing for Victoria.

The excitement of this T20 series begins from 19th September so don't miss the Champions League T20 live streaming action online.

Champions League T20 News - Gambhir won't feature in the qualifiers

CLT20 News

Kolkata Knight Riders features in the qualifying matches of Champions League T20 2011 but unfortunately their captain Gautam Gambhir will miss the initial round. He sustained an injury due to which he couldn't even play in the ODI series against England.

Kolkata will also miss the services of Eoin Morgan who is also suffering from an injury. Brad Haddin would probably not play as he will be playing the test match against Sri Lanka.

Let us have a look at how Gambhir fared in the later stages of the last IPL T20 tournament. Kolkata fought really hard to make a place in the final stages but somehow failed. If we consider the last 5 innings of Gautam Gambhir his individual scores were 4, 8, 54, 7 and 16. The only good score was 54 not out which came against Pune in Mumbai. Kolkata won that match by 7 wickets with 20 balls in hand.

Cricket fans are eager to see this adeptable batsman who would flourish in any form of cricket. Cricket fans pray for his speedy recovery as even the Indian national team needs his presence to regain the lost form.

Champions League T20 2011 Live Streaming Cricket

Champions League T20 2011 Live Cricket Streaming

Champions League T20 2011 live streaming will continue this year also on Youtube as it was served last year also. The coverage with online streaming has been excellent and it has been a helpful resource for cricket fans who are away from the television sets.

Champions League T20 2011 qualifiers begin from 19th September and they will continue till 21st September. This would be followed by the main matches where the league will continue till 9th of October. The schedule implies a long T20 league again to entertain cricket fans with a shorter version of this game. Total matches to be played will be 29 which is again a T20 cricket fest.

Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions and MS Dhoni is the captain. He has been one of the most successful captains in current cricket world. World cup win is certainly his biggest achievement. But after world cup the team has seen a huge drop in performances. Hopefully this doesn't play a negativity in his mind while he leads Chennai Super Kings.

With players and teams from around the world, this league purely is a clash of champions. So a tough competition is certainly expected which in turn promises good cricket.
